'Round Midnight

Ancora serata jazz ieri sera. Col mio fido scudiero Suomen siamo ritornati a Lenox Lounge, che ormai è diventato il nostro locale preferito. I muri zebrati sono irresistibili. Trio + vocalist. Atmosfera molto raccolta e cantante molto hot nel rapporto col pubblico. Voce non sempre impeccabile, ma molto emozionante. Mi fa sempre un certo effetto notare come queste vocalist siano in grado di realizzare scale, prendere la nota giusta, anche quando l'impianto armonico costruito dagli strumentisti "lavori contro". Ci vuole una musicalità incredibile. You need to got the music inside. Il pezzo finale, 'Round Midnight, di Thelonious Monk, è stato la ciliegina sulla torta. Very meaningful in this period.
